Garrek's Race

On Saturday, went to Huntington (20 minutes south of Price) so Garrek could run the Little Grand Canyon 1/2 Marathon. He had an awesome race, he placed 3rd in his age category, and set a PR. He surprised us all because he hadn't been training, he just sort of signed up for this race on a whim. YOU ROCK GROBIE! Here are some other pictures of the day, we had a long 4 hour wait until the buses got our Daddy back to us. (This race had poor organization, it was it's first year). Garrek said the race was beautiful, and he loved it, he just didn't like the hour long ride back to the park on an un-airconditioned bus full of stinky runners puking in the back.
